Salary & Bonus in Japanese Company, if you work in Japan
Freshman's monthly salary is not high, but you may get Bonus twice in annual
The chart shows average monthly salary and annual bonus of Large size of Japanese company, if you come to Japan.
If you compare above figure with Singapore's average salary, you may not satisfy monthly salary.
But you should focus on the bonus. Normally Large size of Japanese company pays you twice.
- If you start to work from April → 1st Bonus is "Summer Bonus" , 2nd Bonus is " Winter Bonus"
- If you start to work from October→ 1st Bonus is "Winter Bonus" , 2nd Bonus is " Summer Bonus"
Though the amount of each bonus shall be up to Company's condition or policy, but it would be more than 2 times of monthly salary.
But you could not get 1st Bonus when you are freshman.
- Summer Bonus = Calculated by evaluation from October to April of your work
- Winter Bonus = Calculated by evaluation from April to October of your work
This is the calculation system of your bonus.
If you work in Singapore company, you might only get 1 month's bonus as AWS.
In addition, Japanese company has welfare plentifully.
Therefore, your salary might technically be double or more than what you get in Singapore.
